Laura holds a Counselling Degree and is a Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) Level 2 trained practitioner, specialising in trauma and attachment. She has an Advanced Diploma in Child Psychology and is our SSP trauma trained therapist. Play Therapy and Theraplay trained and qualified to facilitate Family Conferencing. Cathy has worked with children and young people over a 30 year time frame. She is a qualified and registered Social Worker as well as a qualified and joint Chair of the BACP Children, Young People and Family Executive Committee. She has worked in front line safeguarding, chairs various interagency LAC groups and networks, and was an Advisor for both the Department of Education and NI Education Authority in relation to the Independent Counseling Service for schools. In recognition of her work with C&YP and especially her work in establishing the Independent Counselling Service for Schools in Northern Ireland {ICSS} Cathy was awarded a BACP Fellowship. Cathy has also been involved in policy development across the UK including school counselling and emotional well-being.

Dr Sue Pattison is a lecturer and researcher at Newcastle University and a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Accredited Counsellor. She teaches and researches counselling internationally.

Rachael holds a Counselling Degree and is working toward her Advanced Diploma in Child Psychology. She is an experienced bereavement and trauma counsellor and currently volunteers at Teesside Hospice. Registered member of the BACP.

Sue holds a Foundation Degree in Counselling and is a member of the BACP. She has an interest in bereavement counselling and has been a bereavement volunteer for Cruse Bereavement care for 10 years.

Dexter is currently completing his bronze award in his Therapy Dog Certification.

Jess holds a BA Hons in Printed Textiles & Surface Pattern Design from Leeds Art University. Along with a Level 3 in Counselling and 2 years experience providing Therapeutic Creative Workshops. Jess works with children and young people delivering Therapeutic Art Sessions within schools.

I have worked in a senior procurement role for many years. Completed Mental Health and Wellbeing training and Level 2 counselling skills and am also a parent to grown up son.

Francesca has recently completed a Degree in Psychology and Counselling and volunteers for the A Time 4 Your Mind (Woodsmith Project). She has a passion for promoting and encouraging positive wellbeing in children and young people.
